This is where Math Olympiad acts as a stepping stone to those students by providing them with those skills of critical thinking and logical reasoning.
Math Olympiad is a platform which students can utilize to their benefit in becoming proficient in the subject. It provides students with an opportunity to master their concepts and comprehend tricky questions effortlessly. Math Olympiad plays a vital role as it engages the students in thought provoking exercises through their practice questions.
One of the most important purpose of Math Olympiad is to encourage competitive character in students. This will enable them to deal with logical problems of real life.
The Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM), hosted by the Mathematics Teachers' Association, would be the first stage of the program in India. This will be a three-hour exam with 30 questions, each with an integer answer in the range of 0 to 99.
